1. The government of the Republic of Korea has decided to provide humanitarian assistance worth US$50,000 for the Comoros, which recently sustained flood damage from heavy rains. The fund will be delivered as soon as possible after consultations with the ROK’s diplomatic mission in the country as well as the country’s government.
2. Faced with the displacement of some 46,000 people caused by the heavy rains from April 20 through 26, the Comoros government requested some US$3 million in emergency aid from the international community.
